Because of the shelter-in-place order, Rev. Amy and those helping to lead worship will be participating from their homes and you'll see them on your screen, with the bulletin also displayed so you can follow along. We're all learning about online worship together! We’ve made some changes that will make it easier to hear. Hang in there... it’s going to take some practice before we're confident in our new skills.

Options for Palm Sunday Home Worship
Especially for families!
Rev. Amy and her family will be sharing their Palm Sunday procession with us on Sunday. Prepare your own Palm Sunday procession by cutting branches from around your house (they don’t have to be palms!) and preparing instruments, noisemakers, etc so you can march around your living room!
Learn more about the background of Palm Sunday in this talk given by Dr. Susan Calkin, Rev. Wendy Howe, and Ms. Edie Kausch earlier this year (part 1 below,
part 2

Download and print this Map of Jerusalem-- you can follow along, mark or color the map as Rev. Amy takes us through the last week of Jesus’ earthly life. Not just for kids!

Pray With and Add to Grace’s Interactive Stations of the Cross:
These are Stations of the Cross we will create together. They include the fifteenth station: The Resurrection. Add your own images, prayers, meditations, poetry (everyone with the link above has edit access; simply type or cut and paste images.). Please use images with creator’s permission and attribute words to their author (including you!). Check back and know that as we create and pray these stations, we pray together for the life of God’s world. Thanks to Edie Kausch for getting us started and to Linda Laing for sharing her art.

at home. More than one person may sign up for a given hour, but we hope to fill the slots!
Prayer resources from Helen Christianson will be provided by download.
Zoom Potluck Maundy Thursday, 4/9 at 6 PM
We’ll be kicking off our celebration of the Great Three Days at home with a Zoom potluck. Just make your dinner, set up your computer or device on zoom with the camera pointing at the table, and voila! You can also sign on to see others but not be visible. We will share in the beginning of the Maundy Thursday prayers together this way, celebrate the rest of the Great Three Days on our own at home, and then come together again for our Easter Morning celebration at 9 AM.

Blessing of Palms
by Jan Richardson
This blessing can be heard coming from a long way off.
This blessing is making its steady way up the road toward you.
This blessing blooms in the throats of women, springs from the hearts of men,
tumbles out of the mouths of children.
This blessing is stitched into the seams of the cloaks that line the road, etched into
the branches that trace the path, echoes in the breathing of the willing colt,
the click of the donkey’s hoof against the stones.
Something is rising beneath this blessing. Something will try to drown it out.
But this blessing cannot be turned back, cannot be made to still its voice,
cannot cease to sing its praise of the One who comes
along the way
it makes.

Rev. Amy and family have adapted their mealtime prayer to 'elbows' instead of
hand-holding!
The prayer is: "Thank you God for hearts to love, for wind and sunny weather. Thank you God for this our food, and that we are together. Amen."
