Yesterday, the Federal Government announced an improved economic response plan which now includes the
Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB)
. CERB elevates the government's response to the crisis by now recognizing support for individuals who are not eligible for EI. CERB is a taxable benefit which provides $2000 per month for up to 4 months for those who are out of work specifically due to the COVID-19 crisis. We urge all who can to apply.
