MIDDLE SCHOOL CIY MIX/AT | FOR STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 6-8
MIX/AT is a two night, three day experience designed specifically to connect with middle school students through tactile, interactive and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction.
MIX/AT is an event that understands middle school students need their own experience. This age group is at a unique time in their lives – they’re growing and learning differently than any other age group. They’re still young enough to need to play, but old enough to start understanding some core ideas that will stay with them the rest of their lives. It’s their chance to be exactly who they are: to play, listen and learn as themselves.
At MIX, your students will come to understand their identity in God’s Kingdom and be challenged to embrace the Kingdom work He has prepared for them.

Students will have the opportunity to spend the night Monday and Tuesday nights, but if parents would rather students stay at their own home, that's great too. Parents can pick students up after the main sessions each evening (9:30-10p) and drop them back off in the morning at 8:30a.
We're taking every precaution that we can to help keep students safe in accordance with current CDC, State, and local guidelines for social distancing/Covid-19 precautions. Students will be screened upon arrival, and parents will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire and provide emergency contact information. We're taking extra precautions in cleaning and sanitizing, food prep/catering, and providing extra space for sleeping arrangements, activities, etc...
SPECIAL NOTE: Afternoon activity options on Tuesday & Wednesday will include the option to kayak, and blacksmith, in addition to inside activities, games, free time, etc... If students wish to participate in kayaking or blacksmithing they will need to dress appropriately (have swim wear for kayaking, and have jeans, closed toed shoes, and no synthetic fabrics for blacksmithing).
If you have any specific or additional questions or concerns, please email Nick Wilkes at nwilkes@chapelrock.org or Carol Nicely at cnicely@chapelrock.org.
