Hello Incoming Beaver Students,
We are so happy to have you join the Beaver community and introduce BVR Connects.
The purpose of BVR Connects is to welcome and support you: new Upper Schoolers! BVR Connects will help you acclimate to life in the Upper School at Beaver and provide you with a current Beaver student to serve as an informal point of contact. You will be assigned a BVR Connects Partner, someone who is returning to the Upper School. As a new student, you’re automatically registered for the program!
Know that this is not a peer counseling, advising, or mentorship program but an opportunity for all new Upper Schoolers to have a Beaver student to talk to as you navigate the Upper School.
How will it work?
Each BVR Connects Partner will give you a tour of Beaver on the day of your advisor conferences (Wednesday, September 1) based on your first day of school schedule. During the fall term, you will have a chance to meet your BVR Connects Partner one-on-one and through social gatherings organized by the program.
