Screening Opportunities

Thanks to CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundation and the Yes, Mamm! Program , Kentucky CancerLink has a resource to offer those in need of mammography services, Monday through Friday at various locations regardless of their inability to pay.

If you are age 50-75 and have not received a colonoscopy in the last 5 years, you are eligible to receive a FREE At-Home Colon Screening FIT Kit (OC-Light).

This does NOT replace a colonoscopy, but it is an additional form of screening that can be done yearly.

We are currently scheduling SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 appointments for screening mammograms and health education at UK's Comprehensive Breast Center.

You may qualify for a No-Cost Colonoscopy!

We have partnered with the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program to assist Kentuckians in receiving an initial screening colonoscopy or a follow-up "surveillance" colonoscopy they may not be getting due to financial barriers.

Eligibility for UNinsured

Age 45-75 (a person under the age of 45 may qualify for a KCCSP funded colonoscopy if certain risk factors exist)
Legal Resident of Kentucky
Income less than $37,470

Eligibility for UNDERinsured in need of a surveillance colonoscopy - follow-up after previous polyps removed

Age 45-75 (a person under the age of 45 may qualify for a KCCSP funded colonoscopy if certain risk factors exist)
Legal Resident of Kentucky
Income less than $37,470
Out of Pocket maximum expenses is 5% or more of the individual's annual income

You must also have at least (1) of the Colorectal Cancer Increased or High Risk Determination Factors.

It was a great day to get up early on a Saturday! Meredith and Melissa had a great time hanging out with Melissa Hounshell and Melanie Hunter with Markey Cancer Center Outreach for Mamm's Day Out! We also had a few pretty awesome volunteers!
