Second Semester Service Hours coming due soon.
All students are reminded that verification of service for the second semester is coming due. Christian service is an annual school requirement. The number of hours were reduced from previous years so there is zero reason why a student is not able to fulfill their obligation.

Juniors- 16 hours of service is due by May 6th
Sophomores- 12 hours of service is due by May 6th
Freshmen- 8 hours of service is due by May 6th

To see how many hours a student has turned in please check Renweb. Select family information, student and then service hours.

RETREATS
We want to thank the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal from Atlantic City for leading our All School Retreat on April 12th. We are so grateful for your faith sharing and helping our students deepen their own personal relationship with Christ.

Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Collection
At the beginning of Lent we distributed Rice Bowl's from Catholic Relief Services to all students. A few weeks ago we had a guest speaker from Catholic Relief Services speak at Convocation Wednesday the work and mission of Catholic Relief Services and how the money collected from the Rice Bowls is put to good use. We are asking all Rice Bowls be returned to CCHS in Rm 114 no later than Monday, April 15th.   We will have the collection blessed the next day at our All School Liturgy and the counting and rolling of coin will begin. Any student who would like to help count and roll coin is requested to sign up on Ms. Clinton's door in Rm 114 by April 15th. We will hold two counting sessions:
Tuesday, April 16th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Wednesday, April 17th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

This is a great opportunity to get service hours.

Prom Safety Presentation
A big thank you for Cherry Hill Police Department, Fire Department and EMS for presenting the consequences of poor decision making behind the wheel. We also want to thank Ella Giergerich, Meghan Higgins, Megan Hulsey and Tommy McBride for being role players in the mock crash and sharing their thoughts about going through the exercise.

Senior 4th Quarter Attendance Policy
This is a reminder of the 4th Quarter Attendance Policy for seniors that was distributed with graduation information at the Senior Parent meeting on Feb 28th.

Senior Fourth Quarter Attendance Policy
Due to the limited number of days in the fourth quarter, any absence in the fourth quarter must be verified by a doctor's note, legal documents, or official college/service documentation. All unverified absences, including suspension days, must be made up prior to Commencement. In addition, seniors who arrive to school after 8:15 am during the fourth quarter are required to make up the time missed and will receive the proper number of demerits. (Student Handbook page 25)

Seniors will start to be notified of the time they need to make up from the start of the 4th quarter and three options on how to complete. It is imperative that seniors are in school since their marking quarter is already shorter for them.
