WHAT TO DO, HOW TO DO IT

On June 15 the Library will begin offering curbside service from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BUILDING
ITSELF IS NOT OPEN.

  • Orders can be placed by phone between 10am and 12noon only, at 845 687-7023.
  • The online catalog will not be working immediately. It will start up again on June 22.
  • Pick up is available from 12noon to 2pm only.  Please call the Library when you arrive, and a staff person will bring your materials out to a table by the Library entrance.
  • The Mid-Hudson Library System's interlibrary loan delivery service will not resume immediately. Until it does, only materials we already have in the building will circulate. We have quite a few new books - see the list on the left of this page.
  • Please return your items in the new drop box by the parking lot. Materials from that box will be quarantined for 72 hours before we recirculate them.
  • Please wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines when you pick up your materials.

Stay safe! We hope to see you soon.
Things we are doing to keep patrons and staff safe as we re-open
  • We have a "No Contact" drop box next to our parking lot, to the right of the garden and arbor.
  • Returned materials are quarantined for 72 hours. Patrons will notice that their records are not being cleared immediately, but fines are not being levied at this point.
  • The Library building has been deep-cleaned since our closing in March.
  • Staff are wearing masks and washing hands during their shift and sanitizing their workstations frequently throughout the day.
Public Access Computers
Our public access computers will not be available at this time, as the building is closed to the public. However, wireless access is available in the yard.
Book Donations
We cannot accept donations of any kind at this time.  Thank you.
