CAP's National Cell Phone Forensics Team worked its 2,000th mission recently, according to its founder, Maj. Justin Ogden. Fittingly, the mission ended in a "find" as the missing hiker, lost through miscommunication with his wife, was quickly located by the team. Since 2006, the team has been credited by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center with finding 924 missing people and saving 615 lives. "This team has revolutionized the way CAP conducts SAR missions," said John Salvador, CAP's chief operating officer. "We couldn't be prouder of what the team has accomplished over the past 14 years."
