Career Management Wine & Pairings Social with FENG
Note date change to the 3rd Tuesday due to the holidays
The FENG/FEI Career Management meeting in December is our annual Happy Hour on the third Tuesday instead of the fourth due to the holidays. This year is special, a ZOOM networking happy hour with wine, cheese and charcuterie pairings by Central Market beginning at 6:00 p.m. Participants will break out into rooms to network with one another while tasting, with a random shuffle to a different room for each wine. Attendance will be capped at 100 participants on a first-come first-served basis. Registration will occur at the FEI Dallas website as has been done for the monthly webinars, and registration codes will be made available to eligible attendees.

The cost is $35 per participant with FEI underwriting the majority of the cost. This covers three bottles of wine, assorted cheeses, meats, nuts and fruits, enough for several people. We encourage participants to invite their significant others or have friends over to enjoy the occasion while safely distancing. We want this to be FUN along with the networking!

Open to FEI Dallas Chapter members in the In-Transition membership category and DFW members of FENG. Registration instructions will be sent to eligible attendees in each group.

2020: What Happened and What’s Next
This program is a guide to following the sweeping temporary and permanent legislative and executive order changes we saw in 2020, along with the breakdown of the 2020 elections, and what to expect net out of DC, the administration and Congress after the results are in given their platforms and The Hill whispers. The program will discuss how the winning candidate’s healthcare and financial strategy helped them gain traction. It will also address the tone and message that we are hearing in D.C. from different members of Congress working on healthcare and financial legislation, and what they are saying, or not saying, about the winning candidate’s healthcare policy. The program will have feedback from members on Trump’s comments on healthcare and the financial sector as he looks to his second term or looks to be walked out come January 2021.
