On Friday, May 15, Premier Dennis King announced the upcoming launch of a Case Team Program for the summer of 2020. The program will bring together teams of multi-disciplinary post-secondary students to solve real problems brought forward by government departments and agencies, private businesses and non-profit organizations.
This program presents a unique opportunity for you to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge, experience and talent these students can bring to your organization.
We invite you to submit a problem that your organization is facing. You may be encountering new challenges as we move towards the “new normal”, and you will undoubtedly benefit greatly from a team working for you, researching industry trends and best practices and developing evidence-based solutions. We anticipate the problems presented will range in complexity, and could include (but are not limited to) those involving marketing, human resources, operations, or strategy.
Your commitment
You will need to have a representative of your organization available to meet with your case team regularly during the two-week period assigned to your organization. This person should be a member of your professional staff who can provide guidance and feedback. At the end of the two weeks, your case team will present to you its findings and recommendations in the form of a professional report and oral presentation; and in return, you will provide them with an evaluation of this presentation.
