Well Texas Democrats may be taking a vacation from their jobs but we aren't taking any breaks. Our next Election Integrity meeting will be Friday as planned and weekly meetings are back on the agenda. Since this is a NEW series of meetings be sure to register below!
Despite the Democrats' publicity stunt, the Governor, Lt. Governor and Speaker remain dedicated to passing the legislative priorities that were announced at the beginning of the special session. So while things may be delayed a few weeks or even months, work will get done and that requires your help. Stay engaged and stay informed! I look forward to talking to you Friday!

We are thrilled to announce Matt Rinaldi as the new Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas!
Chairman Rinaldi represented Northwest Dallas County in the Texas House from 2015 to 2019 and has a history of being a fierce warrior for grassroots Republicans in Texas.
Our State Republican Executive Committee elected Chairman Rinaldi Sunday, to replace the outgoing Chairman Allen West.
We are excited to see what the future holds going into the 2022 election year.

Election Integrity
- Election integrity is a high priority for the RNC, as many of our voters feel disenfranchised.
- Our very democratic process relies on free, fair, and transparent elections that voters across the political spectrum can trust.
- Democrats are using every tool at their disposal to attack the sanctity of our elections, from media misinformation campaigns to federal power grabs.
- As a result, the RNC is leading the charge to expand access to voting, while making it more difficult to cheat. Here is what the RNC is doing:
- The RNC announced the formation of the new Committee on Election Integrity dedicated to restoring election transparency and ensuring voters have confidence in future election processes.
- The committee represents a renewed focus on continuing this important work and fighting Democrats’ unprecedented attempts to change election laws.
- This committee will work closely with state parties and other stakeholders in our elections across the country on voting policies and best practices, such as ensuring poll watchers are allowed to properly observe counting processes, meaningful voter ID laws are codified, and all Americans have faith in our elections process.
- RNC Counsel is executing strategic efforts to fight back against Democrats’ power grabs.
- This past cycle, the RNC ran its most comprehensive legal strategy to date, spending more than $30 million on election protection efforts in battleground states across the country.
- This cycle, RNC Counsel has entered in lawsuits filed by Democrats and have now intervened to defend all thirteen – 8 in Georgia, 4 in Florida, and 1 in Iowa – legal challenges.
- RNC Counsel and RNC Political track Election Integrity bills as they move through the legislative processes.
- RNC Political is building the largest Election Integrity Operation in history, which will have staffers dedicated to election integrity across the country.
- As part of the Election Integrity Operation, RNC Political will recruit, train, and activate volunteers to be at polling locations throughout the voting process (from Early Voting through Election Day).
- RNC Communications is focused on fighting Democrat lies, driving the narrative, earning fact checks and story corrections, which has resulted in significant earned media success.

By a 33 point margin, American voters believe that voting in their area is “easy” and want the main objective of any reforms to focus on making sure elections are “fair and free of voter fraud.”

68 percent of voters believe that state legislatures should decide the voting rules and regulations for their state, not the federal government.

Another poll showed that 75 percent of voters, including 69 percent of Black voters, support voter ID laws, a finding that is consistent with polls for years.

In Georgia, where Democrats spread lies about the election law, A recent poll found that 65% of Georgians surveyed support requiring a driver’s license number to verify absentee ballots.
- Polling conducted by Kellyanne Conway’s firm included key findings about Americans sentiment on election integrity.
- More than 80% of all voters say verifying voter ID is an important security measure; nearly all have driver’s licenses or another form of ID and think it is easy to acquire ID.
- 87% of voters said they were against ballot harvesting and 71% of voters believe ballots should not be accepted after election day
- 88% of all voters say states should not mail ballots to people who are not registered to vote and non-citizens.
- 77% of all voters reject Democrats’ claim that “racism” is behind voting integrity laws, and believe one party uses it for political purposes, not for electoral progress
- 78% of all voters said they totally supported a proposed voting plan with these five principles: 1. Presenting Voter ID, 2. Signature Verification, 3. Chain of Custody Controls, 4. Bipartisan Election Observers, 5. Cleaning up the Voter Rolls.

Biden’s Silence on Defund the Police
- Democrat policies are to blame for the crime wave that is sweeping many cities.

Last year, as cities across the country were burned and looted, far-left Democrats pushed the dangerous and wildly out of touch effort to “defund the police.”

When Democrats realized defund the police efforts were not popular, they reversed course and are now laughably trying to blame Republicans.
- Joe Biden and Democrats should condemn efforts to defund the police instead of pushing baseless and easily debunked lies.

Here are just a few Democrat cities that are defunding the police:
- New York
- Philadelphia
- Washington, D.C.
- Baltimore
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
- Minneapolis
- Seattle
- Portland
- Austin
- Hartford
- Just weeks ago Oakland cut $18 million from its police department.
- At a time when crime is surging, this is clearly the wrong approach. Law enforcement risk their lives every day to keep us safe - they deserve our support.
- American small businesses, families, and communities are experiencing the devastating effects of anti-police rhetoric and police department budget cuts.

Americans living in Democrat-run cities are suffering from historic and devastating spikes in violent crime
- Democrats are pushing to defund the police despite what their communities want:

In the Bronx: “Why would we defund officers that come out here every day and risk their lives?"

In San Francisco: “When you hear stores closing, when you hear stores making an economic decision to shut their doors early, what does that tell you about the situation in San Francisco?”

In Oakland: “The reality is that we’re facing some significant challenges with crime...We need the resources.”

In Chicago: "The police are afraid to act...it's making the job a lot more difficult for the police...nobody's backing them up."

The vast majority of Americans oppose defunding the police – even with this surge in crime, the Democrat push to defund the police lives on. It’s clear – for Democrat politicians, it’s your safety last, far-left activists first.
- Democrats are hypocrites when it comes to “defund the police.” Democrats want to defund the police and restrict your right to defend yourself and your family, all while insisting on special security for themselves.
- Defund the police-supporting Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Cori Bush have all spent thousands of dollars on security services.
- If Democrats were serious about combating crime, they’d change their disastrous policies. Instead, they’re trying to change the subject. Americans deserve better.

- Parents and students have stepped up at local school board meetings across the country to express their opposition to this damaging curriculum.
The bottom line:
This increase of political radicalism in public schools is yet another reminder of why we must empower parents and students with choice and opportunity to seek the best education, regardless of zip code. Americans everywhere, of all backgrounds, are right to take a stand to oppose CRT.
Thanks to Biden, Americans are Spending More and Getting Less
Americans are facing skyrocketing prices on gas, homes, clothing, healthcare, and many of the other goods they need every day – adding up to hundreds of dollars a year in excess costs. And it’s all thanks to Biden’s disastrous economic policies.
What you need to know:

As American workers and businesses are still struggling to recover, families are facing rising prices for everyday goods.
- Every time you break the bank at the gas pump, you can thank Joe Biden.

Consumer prices surged 5 percent in May, the largest spike in 13 years.

The excess annual cost of gas, groceries, clothing, and healthcare in 2021 will be a whopping $1,400.

Core inflation, which excludes food and gas prices, rose in May at its fastest pace since 1992.
- Despite these clear warning signs, Biden is pushing policies that will smother the economy.
The bottom line:
Inflation is a hidden tax on the American people. Biden’s proposals won’t stop inflation – they’ll make it even worse. Republicans will continue to fight to protect your spending power from Democrats’ radical policies.
