Dear Families,

It has been a very quiet week here at school, with only five of us here making sure all is well on campus, while our amazing team of teachers have continued their connections with your children. This community is unlike any I have ever known, and times of crisis show our true colors - ours are shining bright in the Pine Cobble community.

Together - our faculty & staff and all of you - make quite a team. And the school-home team offers children just what they need: to feel loved, valued, nurtured and challenged. Whether facing this difficult time of COVID-19 or in our normal days here on campus, it is the strength of all of us that makes Pine Cobble what it is for your children and for us as the adults who work with your children.

We know the next two weeks are a time to stop and take a breath, and do our best to find a sense of calm for ourselves and our families.

Please know that while our team is on break, time will be spent preparing for April 7th, in the event we are not able to return to campus that day. You have had a lot of classroom work and exciting enrichment activities coming to you and your children this week from your child's teacher(s) and their specialist teachers. That level of engagement will continue, and Devin will roll out to you over break more specifics about how to make navigating the on-line learning with and for your children even more seamless. We know you are all busy people, and we want you to be able to relax and have an online learning plan for your children that is as easy for you as possible.

As you know, the Governor has said no schools can reopen until April 7th. We all know that date may be extended, so please look for an email from me once updates are shared by the Governor.

If you have not been to our website, we do have a tab called COVID-19 which is meant to be a resource for you. It has the health communications we have sent out over the last few weeks as well as links to important sites that offer factual information about COVID-19 and a few articles you might find helpful. We are very intentionally keeping this page uncluttered so you can navigate it easily at a time when I am sure you are spending more time looking at a screen than ever before.

We will all continue to think about and support each other in all the ways we can in the weeks ahead. Please don't ever hesitate to send me or a teacher an email. We are here to help.

Sincerely.
Sue
