Important News & Updates:
A Note From Nick:

First of all, know that I'm praying for the Lord's strength and peace for you and your family as we all navigate the reality of these days together. I also appreciate your prayers, personally, along with your prayers for our leadership; for wisdom, discernment, and creativity in all that's ahead. I've been continually reminded during these last few days, that while we're being especially cautious by implementing new guidelines for social distancing, that social distancing doesn't have to lead to social isolation. I'm grateful for the ways that we have opportunities to leverage technology and tools for the church to be able to connect and for us to love our neighbors well, and shine the light of Jesus today and in the days ahead.

As I'm sure you can imagine and have experienced, changes and updates to programming and events continue to unfold as we all adjust and adapt to new news and information related to COVID-19. After our last weekly update was sent (Thursday morning), leadership at Chapel Rock made the decision to move our weekend experience totally online for this coming Sunday morning, March 15th, for both of Chapel Rock's main services. As a result, we will not have the opportunity to meet for children's, middle school, or high school programming on Sunday morning. For the full explanation, and best way to stay current on changes or updates from leadership visit the COVID-19 info page on our website here.

What does this mean moving forward? For now, here's the basic guideline: We're not able to gather or host events for the time being where there is the potential to be more than 250 people to be at the church building at one time. Thus, we've got to get creative with anything that normally happens during the 8a, 9:15a, or 11a hour on Sunday mornings. Outside of that, with precautions in place, we're still able to gather for meetings, groups, small events, etc... Thus an updated rundown for middle school/high school programming for this weekend, March 15th is as follows:

NOT Meeting on March 15, 2020:
Merge/The Vine
Crux 56

CONTINUING AS SCHEDULED on March 15, 2020

New Middle School Series: None of Your Business
NOYB is a four-week series centered around the topic of sex. The goal is to help middle schoolers both understand God’s design for sex and begin to think about healthy boundaries and practices when it comes to sex. Though it may be an awkward, new, or serious conversation for students in this phase to have, it’s an important one that will help them frame their curiosity, impulses, choices, and experiences concerning sex in a healthy, God-designed way. [Parents: Please review the the complete weekly teaching manuscripts and small group leader guides in the Merge section below].
