Good Morning,
Happy Friday! You deserve to give yourself a pat on the back for making it through this first week of digital schooling. Thank you to everyone for all of the feedback and continued support and advocacy. I have been listening to feedback from many stakeholder groups including, but not limited to students, teachers, support staff and parents. To address some of the concerns regarding workload, stress and anxiety, I have been working with my leadership team to develop a framework that will streamline digital planning for teachers, streamline the posting of assignments across classes with the goal of reducing stress and anxiety for staff, students and families. This framework needs to be reviewed and approved, but once finalized, I will share it out with you.
Here are some updates:
- Reminder that I instructed teachers to not post any new assignments today other than the Question of the Day - completing the Question of the Day will count as today's daily attendance.
- From the School Based Health Center: The Health Center is available for online therapy sessions for students if needed. As long as a student is signed up for the Health Center, they are able to have access to counseling services. To schedule an appointment, reach out to Ashley Monck at
amonck@stamfordct.gov
or by phone at (203) 883-4310 ext. 4211. If interested in signing up for the Health Center, please access an application through our website:

Take some, well deserved, time this weekend to rest and relax.
Best regards,
Matthew Laskowski
