Beginning our 23 rd  year
of the First Friday Book Synopsis
--------
A SPECIAL NOTE FROM RANDY:
Yesterday, Dallas County announced its emergency coronavirus-related guidelines. All gatherings over 500 people must be cancelled, and all gatherings over 250 people should be cancelled. Our event averages 85-100 people, and our highest attendance has been under 150.
The other part of the recommendation is that people over 60 years of age should consider not attending any gatherings over 10 people. We do have a few people who regularly attend who are age 60 or older. (Including...me).
I have decided, at this point, to still hold our event. But, I will be watching the local news carefully, as we all are. And, if the circumstances change, we will act accordingly.
I have met with the management team of the Park City Club , and I am fully confident that they are taking all extra precautions during this health-conscious time. Of course, the First Friday Book Synopsis team will also take the same level of precaution.
If you purchase a ticket for our April event, and we end up not holding the event, I will issue a credit for a future session.
My personal thought: I want to be fully cooperative, and follow the guidelines put in place. By doing so, we can hope that life will return to normal soon.
And, let's remember those who are ill, and those who have lost their lives, and keep their families in our thoughts. May God be with them; and with us all.

“I love good books;
and I read books
And share their core concepts
Primarily with people
near Dallas
To help people
become more literate
And know what to work on
To do a better job
To build a better company
And, ultimately, to build
a better life.”

"What was that book
I heard people
talking about?”

You want to be better informed; more up-to-date; you want to keep current!

You want to know what is in the best business books.

You want to know the latest trends; the latest findings; you want to know what works: what works now; what is likely to work tomorrow.

Randy Mayeux can be your guide to such learning.

Greetings!

FIRST FRIDAYS ARE FOR LEARNING!

We are beginning our 23rd year!

You are invited to learn with the engaged learners who attend the  First Friday Book Synopsis . Our next session is on April 3, 2020.

Our format has never changed. Two good business books, two synopses, every month.

You know the dilemma:  so many books, so little time . Our synopses help you in tangible ways. You learn the key content of the books we select. It's fast-paced.
And, you walk away with a genuinely helpful, comprehensive synopsis handout for each book.

And we always have wonderful conversations, and a terrific buffet breakfast (with a made-to-order omelet bar).

One regular participant calls our monthly events  "cozy and intimate."  I like that; I think it captures part of what is special about the  First Friday Book Synopsis

Others describe it this way:  "like power reading a business book."  I like that too.

What I know is this -- we always have a room full of engaged people, ready to learn.
After all, First Fridays Are For Learning!

Come; eat; visit & network; and learn.
And, bring a friend or two.

I hope you can join us!
