Dear Assumption Faculty and Staff,

Thank you once again for quickly adapting to the COVID-19, coronavirus, situation. Our goals for this unprecedented decision to extend spring break, temporarily transition to remote learning and, for the time being, restrict student access to campus is to keep our employees safe, continue academic programs and support the continuity of College operations.

I wish to share some information regarding access to campus and additional Brightspace support.

College ID Required for Campus Access
Please know that Public Safety is screening all individuals who wish to access campus. To ensure an efficient entry process, please be prepared to show your College-issued identification at the entrance.

Expanded Brightspace Support for Faculty
  • A Brightspace walk-in center will be open next week, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in TFAC 227 to provide support to faculty transitioning their classes to online delivery. (Appointments are not required.)
  • The next Brightspace training session will take place on Tuesday, March 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in TFAC 227. Please let Beth Peterson know if you plan to attend.
  • If faculty experience difficulty administering remote classes through Brightspace beginning Thursday, they are invited to contact the Help Desk at 508-767-7060 for assistance.

Sincerely,
