COVID-19 Update

As developments continue with the COVID-19 virus, we want to take a moment to provide an update on Loudoun Mutual’s plans and response.
Over the past few years, as part of our business recovery plan, and as a reflection of the increase in “cloud-computing,” we have steadily built out our capabilities for the company to operate and for employees to work remotely. With the addition of our lockbox and moving our printing/mailing offsite, virtually all our essential functions can be accomplished remotely. At this time, the only two functions we are unable to complete remotely are signing checks and sorting the mail. Likewise, almost all Loudoun Mutual employees now have the capability to receive calls and work at home. In response to the current COVID-19 virus, and out of an abundance of caution, all Loudoun Mutual employees that have the capability to do so are encouraged to work from home. You will find their direct dial phone numbers below.
During this time, Loudoun Mutual offices will not be officially closed. Our phones will continue to be answered and essential work that we choose to do onsite (e.g. processing checks, handling the mail) will continue.
As we go through this period of uncertainty, we want everyone to unequivocally know that we care about our employees, our agents, and our policyholders. We will do everything we can so we can work through these uncertain times together.
Likewise, we view this as an opportunity for Loudoun Mutual to show compassion and caring to our policyholders during these challenging times.
To help demonstrate we care, we are postponing the implementation of our billing fees. Likewise, as part of our culture of caring, we will use an abundance of common sense and compassion with our policyholders as they may be facing personal financial challenges.
Together, we will continue to look out for each other; together, we will work through this situation. Some day we will all have success stories to tell about how we all worked through this
