NATIONAL COLLEGE DECISION DAY (May 1)!
Seniors, did you know you need to decide which college you are going to attend by May 1st?
- Decision Day is the deadline to let most colleges know you are going to attend.
- On that day, you'll be expected to pay your enrollment deposit to secure your spot at the college of your choice.
- Check your MDCAPS account and accept any grants that you are awarded.
- Bring your financial aid award letters to the CollegeTracks office as you receive them. We will estimate the costs and compare the results.
- We can help you make a decision by May 1st!

ELIGIBILITY: Graduate from a high school in the DMV, be a U.S. citizen, be admitted and committed to attend a four-year college in the Fall of 2019, demonstrate commitment to community service, have a 2.75 or higher GPA, combined SAT scores of 850 or 19 or higher on the ACT, demonstrate financial need.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to high school seniors. Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident. Essay required.
NAME: Minds in Motion MD: Scholar-Athlete Scholarship
DUE DATE:
April 11, 2019
AMOUNT: $1,000
ELIGIBILITY: Must have participated in interscholastic athletics while in high school, have a minimun GPA of 3.25, SAT/ACT scores required, no citizenship requirements.

Blessing applied to 17 colleges and has been accepted to 10. She has applied for 13 scholarships and is looking for more opportunities to help pay for college.
1. What are you interested in studying in college and why?
Nursing because I want to have a positive impact on people's health.
2. What part of college are you looking forward to the most?
Being independent and being on my own!

Shepherd was founded in 1871 in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and approximately 3,800 undergraduates attend the university.
Shepherd University offers more than 79 undergraduate programs, which include a variety of majors!
Shepherd is recommended for students interested in majoring in Sports Communication, Sports Marketing, Athletic Coaching, Aquatic Science, Environmental Engineering, Photography/Computer Imagery, and Historic Preservation/Public History.
Shepherd has twelve NCAA Division II teams, including men's football, men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball (among others).
