Greetings!
Did you know that 40% of small businesses never reopen after a disaster? To help small businesses prepare, The Chamber has partnered with Orange County Emergency Services to offer a free workshop series on disaster preparedness. Do you Bocce? Whether you're an expert or have never played, our tournament on April 9 is a great opportunity to get out of the office for an afternoon of great fun, food, drinks and connection. It's also a spectator sport so if you'd rather cheer from the sidelines, be a Superfan. Early bird prices end March 20 so don't wait.

An area in Chapel Hill is now designated an “Opportunity Zone” and catching the eye of many investors. This zone, the only one in Orange County, will spur economic development with tax benefits for investors, ranging from deferring tax on prior gains to sheltering future gains for ten-year investments in the zone.

Let us introduce you and your brand to over 2,500 chamber members this spring.
E-mail Rebecca to learn how you can leverage the network and credibility of The Chamber in your marketing plans this year. We’re here to work for you! Sponsorships are on sale now for Community Bocce Derby, Business Excellence Awards, and Leadership Chapel Hill-Carrboro

Chamber member, Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe, strives to do right by their employees. That means offering an affordable health plan that works for their staff. "The Chamber's small business health plan with Piedmont Health was the answer I'd been looking for....with this partnership, I can provide my employees access to affordable health care and also get the ongoing treatment I need for my Type 2 diabetes, affordably."
