William E. Dangle, 92, passed away Nov. 6 in Columbus, OH.  He was born Oct. 7, 1926 in Wadsworth, OH.

He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and also a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Greensboro, NC.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor.  They were married for 63 years.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Mabel Dangle, and his brother, Nelson Dangle.

He is survived by his children:  Matthew (Valerie) Dangel, Jean Dangle, and Andrew (Betty) Dangle, all of Columbus.  Grandchildren: Elizabeth (Ben) Gift, Charleston, NC; Amy (Luke) Nordlie, Westerville, OH; Rachel Watson, Columbus, OH; Kate (Corbin) Oliver, Franklin, IN; great grandson: Connor Nordlie.

William and Eleanor moved from Wadsworth to Pennsylvania in the early 60s and then to North Carolina in the late 60s, where he eventually retired.  He remained active in retirement, working part-time until six months before his death.

He is and will be missed.
