HYDE PARK, NY -- The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and the Poughkeepsie Public Library District present a "Words of War" program on wartime presidential elections with  John W. Jeffries author of A THIRD TERM FOR FDR: THE ELECTION OF 1940 and WARTIME AMERICA: THE WORLD WAR II HOME FRONT on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Following the talk, Jeffries will be available to sign copies of his books. The program will be held in the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home. 

This is a free public event but registration is required.

John W. Jeffries  is Dean Emeritus of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, and Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is the author of A THIRD TERM FOR FDR: THE ELECTION OF 1940 and WARTIME AMERICA: THE WORLD WAR II HOME FRONT.
