Paul Flowerman (2018) is working to reverse the lagging literacy and numeracy progress of five million children in India. Mr. Flowerman's Mindspark, a digital math and literacy learning system, has launched a pilot program in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh.

Gary Kadlec (2018) is being recognized for his contributions to the pharmacy profession. Mr. Kadlec received the Bowl of Hygeia Award from the Michigan Pharmacists Association for his efforts to elevate the profession.

Steven Koltai (2018) was named strategic advisor for entrepreneurship ecosystems at MIT's D-Lab. Mr. Koltai will work with the team at the D-Lab to develop and advance collaborative approaches and practical solutions to global poverty challenges.

Richard Murray (2018) is now the chief medical officer for Spire Health. Dr. Murray will help guide Spire Health's efforts to transform the way that Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions are monitored and managed.

Laura W. Murphy (2016) is advising tech giants on the most pressing civil rights issues. A recent article from the Wall Street Journal highlighted Ms. Murphy's work with AirBnb to create and drive change around civil rights.

David Moody (2015) is sharing the lessons he learned from a life of entrepreneurship. Mr. Moody appeared on the TrailBlazers podcast to discuss the price, rewards, and challenges of entrepreneurship.

Mary Louise and Bruce Cohen (2014) are helping connect refugees with jobs around the world. Fast Company recently profiled their organization, Talent Beyond Boundaries, and their work to address the refugee crisis.

Tom Santel (2011) is backing a plan to bring economic development to St. Louis. Mr. Santel and Civic Progress, a consortium of leaders from local businesses, threw their weight behind a new measure to merge the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County for greater economic prosperity.

Rodney Slater (2010) hosted a summit on nonprofit leadership for organizations around the country. In his work with the Squire Patton Boggs Foundation, Mr. Slater convened Profs. Rosabeth Moss Kanter (HBS) and Jim Honan (HGSE) to offer their expertise on leadership, governance, and finance.

ALI Executive Committee Member Howard Koh (SPH) has dedicated his career to improving public health. Dr. Koh was profiled in the journal of the American Cancer Society for his work to promote public health as a clinician, in government, and in academia.

ALI Founding Chair and Director Rosabeth Moss Kanter (HBS) is being honored for her commitment to diversity. Prof. Kanter will receive the Diversity Advocate Award from Get Konnected! at their annual gala on March 26.

ALI Executive Committee Member Forest Reinhardt (HBS) is leading a new course on global business for HBS Online. Participants in the course will learn from real-world leaders as they analyze and debate the implications of global phenomena in order to make better business decisions.
