Your Business News & Updates
The City of Laguna Niguel is working to support our local businesses during this COVID-19 crisis and beyond. We will provide timely information, resources, programs and updates to help your business thrive!
Rolling Out the Red Carpet for Businesses
The City of Laguna Niguel is a proud nominee of Orange County Business Council's Red Carpet OC Awards for our Temporary Pilot Program.

With the pandemic creating incredible challenges for businesses, our City initiated the Temporary Pilot Program to help businesses recoup revenue by using portions of parking lots and common areas to accommodate outdoor seating for restaurants, hair and nail salons, religious institutions as well as outdoor exercise areas for fitness studios.

To further promote the business community and foster economic development, we launched this weekly economic development eNewsletter offering a host of COVID-19 resources, news and information such as small business loans and paycheck protection programs along with a “Featured Business” video program to highlight Laguna Niguel’s exceptional businesses and their efforts to follow the State’s health and safety guidelines while providing services.

We are also proudly partnering with the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce to better inform and educate our business community.

Orange County Business Council's 10th Annual Turning Red Tape into Red Carpet Awards is on November 19.

Find a Mentor to Help You Address Business Finance Needs
With COVID-19 significantly impacting small businesses, SCORE is offering free mentoring to help businesses address financing needs and navigate this difficult time. SCORE mentors can help you identify funding sources; work with you on your financial statements; and other information that you'll need to prepare to apply.

Once you receive your loan, mentors can help you determine how best to use the funds to ensure your business's survival. If you're denied a loan, SCORE can help you figure out your next steps and find alternate sources of funds.

SCORE mentors can meet with you remotely —by phone, email and video —so you can get the financing to keep your business running.
