The Cincinnati Computer Cooperative is Here for Your Students

Have you ever wondered where your students can go for affordable computers? The answer is closer than you think - in Woodlawn at the Cincinnati Computer Cooperative.  The Cooperative, a community nonprofit, has been helping students and their teachers get affordable computers for 17 years. The Cooperative accepts gently used donations of computer equipment, refurbishes the machines, installs free Microsoft Office software, and sells the systems at extremely low prices to those in need. Who can buy? Students K through college; anyone over 55 years old or on public assistance; and all schools and nonprofits. Systems start at $150 with a 1-year guarantee.

Supporting Teachers with Open House

The Friends of the Public Library believe that outside of the home, there may be no greater champions of literacy than teachers, educators, and librarians. The Friends want to support these local heroes by providing quality classroom resources at nominal prices, and by offering support to those who are on the front lines.

Join fellow teachers, home schoolers and educators for this private shopping event.

The Teacher Free Store will be closed April 1 - 8, in preparation for our annual fundraising event.

Starting April 9, the store will be open for all shopping weeks until our last day of shopping on May 23.

Finally, don't forget that each teacher is issued 10 flex days per school year. If you aren't sure how many days you have left, please contact Stefanie Clayton at [email protected] or call 513-482-3290.
