Together we remain #DurhamStrong in the fight against COVID-19
With the second wave of COVID-19 upon us, it’s everyone’s responsibility to help stop the spread. Follow all current best public health practices and provincial guidelines. Visit durham.ca/NovelCoronavirus for more information, or watch a short video from Durham’s elected leaders. Stay up to date on the COVID-19 situation in Durham by visiting durham.ca/COVIDCases.
Celebrating Halloween safely during COVID-19
Halloween festivities are great memories for everyone, but COVID-19 will have us all doing things differently this year. As case numbers remain high in many areas of Ontario, we’re all strongly encouraged to reinforce public health measures to ensure everyone remains safe. Visit durham.ca/NovelCoronavirus for more information on specific tips, tricks and alternatives to help keep you and your family safe this Halloween.
Wear your purple today to support our children
Every October, organizations across Ontario come together in recognition of Dress Purple Day. It’s a day to raise awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families. Watch Chair Henry’s video statement for more information.
