with Julie Shein, PT, CPT, neurologic physical therapist at Bethesda's
Point Performance
. Julie will explain the bio-mechanics of gait and balance and the importance of maintaining physical activity. She will also offer individualized assessments on participants’ balance, and offer her thoughts on the design of an activity program including recommended exercises to improve gait and strengthen balance (ALL).

urator of Programming for the new Planet Word Museum, to open in D.C. on May 31.
Planet Word will be the first voice-activated museum and will open with 11 galleries that explore the world of words includ
ing a 12-foot globe with 5,000 LED lights to teach visitors words and phrases in other languages & a voice-responsive, 22-foot, three-dimensional Word Wall. Language is what makes us human. From earliest childhood we weave our words into speech to

"What is the Outlook for US-China Relations?"
with Stapleton Roy, Ambassador to China. In the space of a few short decades, China has emerged as a worthy rival of the US as a global leader. Complicating this issue is President Xi Jinping's campaign against western influences, increasingly resorting to fear and repression to maintain stability. Ambassador Roy will look at these issues from his long experiences in dealing with China (ALL).

"The CIA and Intelligence: An Insider View"
with Jon Nowick, who served with the CIA from 1974-2006 as an intelligence analyst and manager focused on the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Jon prepared intelligence reports for three Presidents and, since 2006, has been training CIA and other Intelligence Community officers in counter-terrorism and collaboration.
In
this interactive session, Jon shares personal insights from his work with the CIA, including informing Presidents of events that shook the world (ALL
).

“Climate, Oceans, and Human Health: How the Chesapeake is a Paradigm”
with Dr. Rita Colwell, environmental microbiologist and former Director of the National Science Foundation.
She will
discuss her research findings on the effects of global warming on the spread of infectious diseases through water sources and its impact on global health (ALL).

finding answers to questions you may have.

UPDATE REGARDING MD DRIVER'S LICENSES - DEADLINE TO MEET NEW TSA REQUIREMENTS
As of 10/1/2020, travelers in the US will need a new type of identification card to fly domestically - a
Real ID.
Most current driver's licenses will no longer be accepted by the TSA. Only Real ID or another form of federally accepted ID such as a passport will suffice.
