TONIGHT: Roger Waters will be a guest on Tucker Carlson, a popular Fox News program, with 3 million views at 8:00 pm, Eastern Time, this evening.
Tucker can be a tough interviewer, but I don’t have high hopes for this evening’s program. In his promo for the show, Tucker said “Waters will be on the show for a rare but interesting interview on something he cares deeply about. A smart guy, you don’t want to miss it.”
Tucker is a conservative commentator with an isolationist bent. You have an opportunity to write the show and offer your comments and suggestions. I know one might be tempted to vent about Waters’ anti-Semitism and hate mongering, but I believe it will be more productive to propose a question Mr. Carlson might ask.
Some possible questions:
Roger Waters puts a great deal of energy into demonizing Israel and calling for its isolation. Please ask Mr. Waters what he has done to promote reconciliation and peace?
Please ask Mr. Waters what he is done to support the Palestinians living outside of Israel and the territories?
I'm sure you have great ideas, I hope you write the show.
