Athletics- Recurring Charge

Dear Families,

We have been notified that many of you received a recurring charge for athletics last week. This appears to be a glitch in our configio payment portal and we quickly worked to fix it and issue refunds immediately. We apologize for the inconvenience. If for any reason you have not been refunded, please contact me directly. We have also taken steps to make sure this does not happen in the future.
Sincerely,

Todd Conklin

Tax Credit Season is Underway!

Arete Fall Athletics are back in full swing! We are thrilled to see our student athletes getting the opportunity to develop character, build community, and challenge themselves in competition once again.

Our athletics are made possible by your Arizona State Tax Credits. This is a dollar for dollar CREDIT on your AZ state taxes. 100% of your tax credit designation goes to our athletics and clubs, and provides our Chargers with these valuable opportunities.

Thank you for your support!

Please reach out to our Academy Giving Manager Jessica Vaughan with questions.

Varsity Football Picks up 1st Win Back in 2A

Congratulations goes out to our Varsity football players and coaches, who picked up a much deserved first win back in the 2A conference on Friday, 34-26 over Globe. Matthew McClelland totaled 261 yards. Shea De Cou kicked a game changing field goal and played well as a defensive back. Jack Bellomy had a solid overall game with 75 total yards and a highlight reel touchdown run. Tyler Driggs caught his first Touchdown of the season.

MS Flag Football Remains Unbeaten

Our MS flag football teams remained unbeaten, as A tied Lincoln prep 6-6 and B beat Scottsdale Christian 13-12. The highlight of the day included Kyler Moore and Prahlad Rattan ending up on ESPN's "you got mossed" segment on Sunday morning, during nationally televised NFL pregame. If you haven't seen the clip, check out our social media @areteprepchargers. Congratulations Prahlad, Kyler, and MS football.

In the B game Harrison Kremer scored on a touchdown pass from Brady Conklin and Jacob Bateman scored on a long run. The defense came up with big stops when they needed them including some key pulls by Adam Pham and Noah Carpenter.

Dig Pink Raises Funds for American Cancer Society

Our HS Volleyball teams hosted a Dig Pink Volleyball match last week, as they took on Lincoln Prep. This annual event is meant to raise both awareness and funds for cancer research, with all gate funds being donated to the ACS. With a limited about of fans allowed in the gym, we were still able to raise $220.00 for this great cause!

Great job Volleyball!
Character, Community, Competition.
