We know the needs in our community are great in the midst of caring for the most vulnerable at this time. This email contains several service and outreach opportunities that you can do at this time.

★ Bread Drop, formerly known as The Welcome Bread, continues to deliver over 3,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches each week throughout the SEPA region. Community Action is hosting a PB and J collection for Bread Drop during the month of June. Jars of smooth peanut butter and/or jelly can be dropped off any time and placed in the Bread Drop bin located at the church front entry. Questions? Contact Linda Bucher at 610-996-7041.
★ It’s time for the Backpack School Supply Collection. We hope to again be able to supply stuffed backpacks to students in the Chester and Upper Darby Communities. Last year we filled just over 300 backpacks. Over the past two years, this has become an interfaith effort with several faith communities joining what was started with the Lutheran Churches in Delaware County.
Cradles to Crayons has several ways to support children in our area!

C2C Quest provides an opportunity for families, community groups, and corporations to engage in fun, friendly competition while working together to successfully complete “missions” from their own homes & neighborhoods.

Giving Factory Direct will match you with a specific child in the community so donations of high-quality, gently used clothing can go directly to someone in need.

Giving Factory @ Home offers activities for you and your family to continue helping us provide essential items to local kids, from the safety of your own home.

Support Dress a Girl Around the World – a ministry that provides dresses for girls in impoverished countries. By providing a simple sundress that has a label sewn on the dress, a girl appears to be cared for and connected to a caring community. This reduces a girl’s chances of being trafficked.

Here’s how you can help – by joining the Reformation Sewing Group! All participants will be provided with a kit, patterns, and help with any questions. The Sewing Group will meet on Zoom twice a month – a morning and an evening. If you have any questions, please contact Joyce.
The Citizen Corps of Delaware County (CCDC) is in need of medical and non-medical volunteers to help with the COVID-19 vaccination distribution. Click below to learn more and register to volunteer.
You can help Caring for Friends by developing “caring notes” for snack bags. Caring for Friends provides meals for homebound and hungry people in the Philadelphia area. Click below to see the instructions to make "caring notes."
Media Food Bank is receiving donations Monday to Friday from 12 noon - 2 pm. You can take donations of basic food supplies, household supplies, and personal hygiene items directly to the Media Food Bank located at First Church Media. Check their Facebook page each week for lists of most needed items.
The Red Cross is in need of blood donations. If you are able to donate, visit the Red Cross website to locate a drive soon near you. Click below to connect to their website now.
