Student Spotlight - Harshitha Tummuru
Hello, Raiders,

My name is Harshitha Reddy, and I am from Hyderabad, India. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Wright State University.

I would like to tell you a little bit about my background, interests, and my goals.
I am a creative and ambitious young woman because I have developed many hobbies in my life, for example, I love reading novels, sketching, and sports like basketball. Everyone has a role model in life, it can be a parent or a superhero. For me, my role model is my mother who inspires me in all aspects. My career vision is to one day be able to provide affordable medicines to marginalized communities.

I am very glad to join WSU. It is a great platform to meet new people and improve my skills. The university provides cutting-edge research, exceptional faculty, and educational opportunities, and extensive links to the world around us, which reflect the university's culture of innovation. The university’s mission is to use high-quality advanced education to change the students and the communities where they live. I am happy to be a part of the WSU family.

National Cousins Day – July 24, 2021

National Cousins Day falls on the calendar every July 24 and is the perfect day to send some love to those family members we call cousins. Whether they were our first best friend or first antagonist, cousins are the people who made family get togethers fun – or at least more tolerable and less awkward – when we were kids.
