A Message from Pastor Austin
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"
-Jesus
(John 10:10)

Do you need comfort? Do you need to be refreshed? In a world that teaches division, hate, anger, sadness, and hopelessness God's Word comes to us. Satan comes to destroy, but Jesus came to save. Luthers's words point to the hope we have in Christ Jesus alone...

The Gospel is a precious and comforting word. It comforts and refreshes the sad heart. It wrestles it out of the jaws of death and hell and transports it to the certain hope of eternal life, through faith in Christ.

-Luther (paraphrased)

God's peace and joy be with you today as you reflect upon the certain hope of eternal life, through faith in Christ alone.

Thanks be to God!

See you Sunday Online as we celebrate who Christ is and what he has done for us.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

No In-Person Service this Sunday

Online Service Only This Week

October 18th, 2020

Good Evening,

With the safety of our church members and guests as our main priority, please note that this Sunday’s services on October 18 will be hosted online only, with no in-person services being offered. Since we have learned of an attendee of Saturday’s memorial service testing positive for COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution for our entire church body, we have decided to suspend in-person worship for this Sunday, October 18 and do the service online.

For contact tracing purposes, Eagle County Public Health was notified of the positive test and they have subsequently identified the individuals at Saturday’s service who they recommended be tested. Each of those individuals, including Pastor Austin, has tested negative, and we praise God for those results. No tests for additional individuals have been requested by Eagle County Public Health, nor have additional quarantine restrictions been imposed. Those individuals who are under such orders have already been notified. If you have not been contacted by Pastor Austin or Eagle County Public Health in this matter but are concerned about exposure, we encourage you to talk with your healthcare provider to discuss specific questions and concerns related to Saturday’s service.

As is true every week, the church has been thoroughly and professionally cleaned, as well as aired out via our commercial exhaust fan. As a church, we will continue to follow Eagle County’s five commitments, and most importantly, we will continue to pray for the attendee who has tested positive, as well as for our entire community’s health and safety.

This week, October 18 – Online Services Only

Next week, October 25 – In-Person and Online Services

See you this Sunday – ONLINE :-)

We love you all and regardless of our circumstances The Word of the Lord Endures Forever!
