News from the Front Office

As many of you have noticed, our Winter-Spring Activity Guide went through a dramatic makeover! We look forward to continuing this same look and design with our upcoming Summer Guide to provide you with an organized format which will help you find your favorite classes and also help you discover new class to try!

We are working hard at finalizing our summer programming and we are excited for you to see another Activity Guide packed with many amazing classes, activities, leagues and community event opportunities. Keep an eye out for our Summer 2019 guide being mailed out and posted on our website at the end of the month!

CBS 58 Spotlights our very own Mary Blandino!

This is a call for action to all seniors and young at heart....to age stronger with us.

Mary Blandino, Open Badminton and Open Pickleball volunteer coordinator for the WAWM RCS is an inspiration for all of us. As a retired educator and coach in the school district and with our department, many have had the opportunity to benefit from Mary's knowledge, passion, teaching and coaching.  We strongly encourage all of our senior friends and Young at Heart to take Mary's advice and keep yourself physically, mentally and socially active so that you too can age stronger.  Register today for one of our many program offerings and let Mary motivate you to move. Do you have a talent or skill that you would like to share with others, please let us know.  Stay active by connecting with your Recreation and Community Services Department.
