cabin fever cooking class 
Just the thing to get you out of the house! Chef Katie is offering a special Cabin Fever Cooking class on Monday, January 27, 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Wallace House. You'll learn three hearty main dish recipes: Winter Vegetable Coconut Curry, Beef Stew with Dutch Oven Bread and Italian Sausage with White Beans and Kale. "gal"-entine's brunch is back!
"Gal"entine's is the new thing to celebrate female friendships. Gather up your besties on Saturday, February 8, 10 am - noon for a stuffed French toast brunch and activities. Menu also includes scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, mock mimosas, and cocoa bar with homemade marshmallows. $15/person. Email Lisa for reservations or call 641.337.5019 by Feb. 5.

Treat your sweetie to Valentine's Dinner at the Wallace House on Thursday, February 13. Chef Katie's fabulous 4-course menu will be announced asap featuring our own produce and other ingredients purchased locally. Relax and enjoy live music during dinner. Seating at 5:30 pm and 8 pm. Held in the home where Nancy Cantwell Wallace lived and worked, this 3-course lunch includes a program of readings taken from her Hearts & Homes column in Wallaces' Farmer. Each program and menu is a little different. Upcoming dates include February 21, March 13, April 3, May 1 and more. 11:30 am - 1 pm at Wallace House. RSVP to Deborah.
