Thank You Okaloosa Gas!
Okaloosa Gas has granted CBA $3000 to support the Lewis School’s  Grasses in Classes  curriculum during the 2018-2019 school year.

Okaloosa Gas believes the vitality of their business depends on the health and well-being of the communities where they live and work. Each year they fund a variety of nonprofit organizations and collaborate with their employees to provide additional volunteer support.

Dunes in Schools Field Trips
October means Dunes in Schools field trip season! Middle schoolers across Okaloosa and Walton Counties will head to the coast to plant sea oats, learn about native species, and discover the Gulf of Mexico as a kickoff to their nine-month program.

Throughout the year, CBA staff and AmeriCorps NWF Environmental Stewards will bring hands-on lessons to the classroom in addition to teaching students how to raise their own sea oats.

To sponsor a local middle school's Dunes in Schools program, contact our Communications Coordinator at zambelle@nwfsc.edu.
