Dear NCSLA Members,
This week, I was fortunate to be invited by the NC Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA represents NC’s nursing homes) to participate in a conference call with the State Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) to discuss the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how long term care facilities should make preparations to prevent and/or respond to the virus.
The OEMS, the state’s designated
ESF-8
Health and Medical Emergency Preparedness team, will be holding a webcast on
Friday, March 6, at 10:30am
for NCHCFA Members and NCSLA Members. The purpose of the webcast is to share information and to provide an opportunity for members to ask questions of the OEMS team.
You must pre-register for the webcast.
You may do so by clicking this link:

.
If you plan to join the webcast, please register well in advance and test your system to make sure you are able to join the webcast at the appropriate time. The Q&A portion of the webcast will be handled using the text question function of the GoToWebinar application. Due to an expected very large attendance, attendees will not be able to ask questions verbally.
