Spring Sports Tryouts begin February 4th. You will not be able to try out for a Spring Sport until your registration is complete. Now is the time to get your Register My Athlete account set up if you did not play a sport in the Fall or Winter.

We have some unfilled One Lunch shifts this semester and would love your help! You can sign up for just one shift or for a few. Don't worry if you have never volunteered for One Lunch before - we will make sure someone shows you the ropes. On days when we are short volunteers, the cafeteria staff has to reduce the number of food service locations - affecting hungry students and teachers! ASU Men's Basketball SUSD Night
February 8th, 2019 at 8:00 pm // Tickets $14 ea
Come out with SUSD faculty and staff, students, parents, and families to see Sun Devil Men's Basketball take on the Washington Huskies. Each ticket will allow students K-6 to shoot free throws on the court following the game.

ACT for all AHS Juniors FREE
Test Date : Wednesday, February 20th
This year SUSD is offering all Juniors the opportunity to take the ACT exam, free of charge, during the school day on Wed, Feb 20th.

Sophomore Information
EVIT Field Trip February 8th
Current 10th graders interested in attending the EVIT field trip on February 8th, please pick up a permission slip form from Mrs. Kim in the guidance office. Permission slips are due on Feb. 1st and it is first come, first served so get your permission slip in early.

Packages From Home for the Troops
Jake Van Es Eagle Scout Project February 4th - 15th
Packages From Home is a non-profit organization that pack boxes full of snacks, treats, and toiletries for the military overseas so that they feel more close to home. If you are interested in donating, the donation boxes will be in the front office from February 4 through February 15. Each day after school I will pick up the donations.

Baseball

Annual Arcadia Cares : Food for Kidz Packathon
SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2019 8:15 A.M. - 1:45 P.M.
Are you looking for ways to help those less fortunate in the Arcadia community - and having fun at the same time? If so, please consider volunteering for the Fifth Annual Arcadia Cares: Food For Kidz Packathon - Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (56th Street/Indian School). The majority of the meals packed will help fill the empty tummies of children and their families in the Phoenix metro area. Volunteers Needed - All ages from three on up are welcome to participate.
