Family Weekend Recordings
It was so nice to see many of you virtually over the course of Family Weekend. If you missed any of the sessions, recordings of the panels can be viewed in OnBrooks in the Family Weekend section of the Resources page.
Parent Survey
Earlier today, you should have received an email from Dean of Academic Affairs Susanna Waters offering the opportunity to complete a survey regarding your child’s experience thus far. The feedback will allow us to hear, from your point of view, the quality of the learning experience and will inform our plans as we look ahead to the second semester. Although there is still some uncertainty around what 2021 will hold for us, this information may help us inform decisions around scheduling and academic workload. Please complete the survey when you have a chance. Thank you!
Virtual Families: Gathering This Saturday!
Every year, we get together as a community to paint purple pumpkins to increase epilepsy awareness. This has been an important part of our fall traditions at Brooks and we are hoping to get local, virtual students together to paint some pumpkins that we can bring back to campus (or you can take home to display in your own neighborhood). Earlier this week, your child should have received an email invitation for an event at Smolak Farms in North Andover. Please remind them to respond by tomorrow. We would love to see a great turnout!
Gifts From Home Program
Is it your child’s birthday? Or maybe you just want to surprise them with a treat? Consider the Brooks store's Gifts from Home Program, through which you can send a cupcake, cake or balloon package!
Flu Shot: Final Reminder
Please remind your child to head to the Health and Wellness Center for their flu vaccine. We will not be reminding them individually so we would greatly appreciate your encouragement.
Last Call for Ghostly Goodies
Wow, what an incredible response we have received so far — Brooks parents are amazing! If you would still like to contribute to our Ghostly Goodies event, we are hoping to create one more faculty raffle basket to show our appreciation for all they’ve done this fall and have added some new items to the Amazon wish list. If you’d prefer to Venmo, please contact Joan Ziady P’18, P'20, P'22 for more information. We are so looking forward to surprising the students next weekend with cider donuts, goody bags and general Halloween cheer and will be sure to take lots of pictures to share!
