Art Exhibits: By the Sea by Kent artist Christine Lombardi. The exhibit can be seen in the Gallery from September 2 through October 30.
Monday, October 26 at 3:30 p.m. TAB & Book Club on ZOOM. Come help plan new programs and suggest new materials for the library! We also will be discussing our Book Group book- title TBA. Grades 5 and up only. Please register on our website for Zoom meeting code.
Monday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. Virtual Book Talk & Signing. Join Morris author Stephen Drew as he discusses his new memoir Into the Thin, A Pilgrimage Walk Across Northern Spain. Co-sponsored by House of Books. On Zoom. Please register for login information.

Wednesday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. ART UNDER THE TREES! Outdoor Program! Bats, Skeletons, and Ghosts, oh my! Join Ms. Abigail to make a fun Halloween art project. All ages. Registration required. Thursday, October 29 at 12:30 p.m. Outdoor Program! LUNCH BUNCH! Bring your lunch, listen to stories and enjoy a fun craft. Location: behind the Visitor Center. All ages. Please register. Thursday, October 29 and Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. Write The First Draft. A two-session workshop (on zoom) to generate new fiction will be led by author Sergio Troncoso. This writing workshop is for 12 participants. (The Workshop has been filled). Saturday, October 31 at 1:00 p.m. Story Hour! Trick or Treat! Outdoor Program!
Read books about trick or treating with Mrs. Sam and give your costume a practice run! Come all dressed up and you'll get a piece of candy! Make a cool Halloween craft. All ages. Registration required.

Friday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. Virtual Music Access. Join us for coffeehouse style music on the first Friday of each month. Tonight's guest are Spinn Music. Sisters Stephanie and Cheryl Lynn Spinner are city girls with country hearts, and while their New Jersey home may not be known for country music, they're putting their cowboy boot imprint on the Garden State, and the rest of the country. This past year Spinn Music won country music station NASH FM's NASH Next regional competition - which featured over 750 bands - earning them a trip to Nashville to perform in the finals, and tour with the other top 10 finalists from around the country. Opening for Spinn Music is the Northwest Corner's own Haley Trapella. On Zoom. Please register for login information.
Saturday, November 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Opening Reception: Transitions by South Kent artist Allison May Gennings. Meet the Artist in front of the Library in the Chess Court. Enjoy a small private tour of her exhibit. Refreshments will be served before or after having a tour of the Gallery with Allison. (Adults must wear facemask or shield). The exhibit runs from November 2 through December 30. Please register. The program is free and open to the public. (raindate: Saturday, November 14).
