Health Corner

Poison Prevention

March is Poison Prevention Awareness Month. As parents and caregivers, our goal is to keep our children safe. Children are naturally curious. Young children are also prone to exploring things with their mouths. That is why it is especially important for us to know what is in our environment and have a plan to lock up potentially hazardous materials to prevent accidental poisoning. Some poisons are pretty obvious, such as household cleaners and medications, while others may not be thought about as much, such as certain household plants. Check out the following links for more information on this important topic.
