The return of textbooks, Chromebooks, music equipment, art supplies, and sports uniforms for all students in grades 7 through 12 is scheduled for
Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29
. Seniors do not need to return their Chromebooks. This will also allow students and families to obtain any belongings left behind on March 13, including medications, locker items, and art projects. A schedule has been prepared (below) to allow for substantial social distancing and protection of our students, faculty, and families during this process.
Only students will be permitted to enter the building and all students must wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Students are to report to the Brady Science Hall entrance at their scheduled time with all of their books, Chromebooks, music/art equipment, sports uniforms, and any other outstanding items belonging to York Catholic High School. Entrance will be first come, first served within the students' scheduled time with no more than 5 students in the building at one time. Students will have their temperatures taken prior to entering the building. Once inside, students will follow the signs to return their items to the designated room and sign the form to complete the return process. Medications, locker items, and art projects will be available for pick-up by the student.
Please follow these guidelines on pick-up day:
-
Please use disinfectant wipes to wipe down all items you are returning.
-
Enter the campus from the access road in between the school and the Ice Rink. Students will enter the Brady wing. Parents may wait in the Ice Rink parking lot.
-
Please be patient if a line forms.
-
As much as we wish to spend time with you, we will need to keep everyone moving. Once inside the building, the drop-off process should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
-
Families should follow the alphabetical schedule below using the

School Closure - Memorial Day |
York Catholic will be closed Monday, May 25, in celebration of Memorial Day.
|
Any student who is registered for the 2020-2021 school year at York Catholic, is a musician, dancer, or interested in color guard, should sign up for Marching Band! The seriousness of COVID-19 prevents us from holding auditions in person this year, so we've made adjustments to allow for auditions through recordings and still maintain our rehearsal schedule.
YC students who are instrumentalists need to play at least at an intermediate level. Students who are new to York Catholic need to send an audition recording. The audition recording must include the student playing two different scales of their choice and a selection from a private lesson piece or concert piece.
New YC students who wish to join the color guard must audition. Auditions will take place when we can all be back together.
Click
here
to sign-up for Marching Band and Color Guard and for more details about auditions. The deadline for submitting audition videos is tomorrow, Friday, May 22.

for details. The deadline for submitting audition videos is Friday, June 5.
