Study session will be from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and testing will go from 7:30 PM to 8 PM.
This is a great opportunity to complete your written horse level test.

Inspire the 4-H members – We Need Leaders
We have several dates held for project workshops. We would love to have a workshop or two on record books, computers, rocketry, public speaking, leather-craft or any other projects that members show an interest. We can plan more than one project a night.

If you are a leader that is interested in hosting a project workshop, please contact the Extension Office.

Open 4-H Dog Project Practices
All practices will begin at 6 PM in the Multi-Purpose Barn (north side). Youth must RSVP online by the Wednesday before the practice. There will be a limit on the number of dogs that can attend each practice – with preference give to those youth NOT enrolled in a dog-focused club (4Paws, Parker Barkers, Running Rovers). There will be a temperament test required for dogs not participating in current dog-focused club practices.
Note: current vaccinations and information must be uploaded in 4honline.

Open Agility Practice  (only for members of 4-H dog project)
  Where:  Golden Star Dog Sports, Sedalia 
  When:   Saturday Feb. 23 & Sat. March 30 (more dates to follow)
  Schedule : 10 AM- 11 AM- 4-H dog project members who are new to agility
           11:30 AM - 4-H dog project members who ran with us last year and/or 4-H members who are taking private agility lessons and can run a sequenced course (teeter and weave poles not required).
2019 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Training Schedule 
The disciplines offered at each training are also listed below. No RSO trainings will be held in conjunction with the 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Trainings this spring.   Registrations via 4HOnline will open approximately 6 weeks prior to the start of each training.   4-H volunteers must be approved, enrolled and active in 4HOnline prior to registering for the trainings. Do not delay the volunteer enrollment or re-enrollment process. More details regarding the trainings will be sent out in the near future. 
4-H Project Manuals
The extension office does not stock all the project manuals. We try to have a sample on site, but if you wish to buy one, the best way is to email or call the office to make an order. Email Sylvia Worcester at [email protected]
Rabbit and Cavy Members
If any 4-H kids are wanting to add rabbits and/or guinea pigs to their project list, the upcoming ARBA show is March 1&2 at Castle Rock fairgrounds.
This would be great opportunity to pick up your new project before the April 1 deadline.
Market Steer Enrollment, Tagging, and Weigh-In

All market steers must be tagged and weighed in on this date. Make sure ALL brand papers are in youth’s name and are brought with you on March 2. Youth MUST be enrolled in 4honline in the market beef project by March 1.
Animal Care and Housing Forms are due at tag in if your animal is not housed at your home.

4-H School Scholarships Available

Attention High School Seniors!!!!!

4-H scholarships are now available! Applications, transcripts and letters of recommendation can all be dropped off at the Extension office any time before the stated deadline. Please read through the entire application so you do not miss an important component. It is your responsibility to have complete and accurate applications. All parts of the application must be turned in on time, so please pay close attention to deadlines. Keep track of your references and follow up with them to make sure they provide your references on time. If our office is closed, there is a slot in the door where your application can be dropped off.
