USU’s Office of Research kicked off its new, collaborative initiative “Research Landscapes” this week, with USU environmental engineer Randy Martin presenting his air quality research Feb. 26 in a public forum in Salt Lake City. The purpose of the initiative is to highlight USU’s air, water and land research expertise and to foster conversations with Utahns in the public and private sectors.
Martin’s talk is the first of three public gatherings planned for 2019, with Biology Professor Michelle Baker, College of Science associate dean, presenting about water research in June, followed by USU Sociology professor Courtney Flint, presenting land use research in October. All are welcome to these free events. The initiative will also highlight USU’s many other research achievements in air, water and land.
