Family Learning and Literacy Calendars
The Family Learning and Literacy Calendars were developed to support families with fun activities while learning at home. The Early Learning Calendar provides monthly tips to work with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The K-1 Literacy Calendar has a monthly theme with foundational layers of literacy, early numeracy and writing. The calendars have also been translated into seven languages and
are available electronically on Ingham ISD's website or may be picked-up at any local Capital Area District Library.

CTE Students Interview Employers
In a typical job fair, potential employees circle a room looking for the right employer. In a reverse job fair, employers search the room for the right candidate for their open positions. Our second annual tri-county Reverse Job Fair for career and technical education (CTE) students in the areas of health, technology, manufacturing and construction is scheduled for Thursday, March 21 at Eagle Eye Conference Center. If you know of any businesses that would like to participate, ask them to call 517.244.1324.

As educators, we know that every month is reading month. However each March, we have a laser focus on the importance of reading at every age. Check out any Capital Area District Library or participate in
activities across our region put together by the Early Childhood Literacy Coalition. Enjoy children's activities, music, storytelling and children can meet some of their favorite storybook characters: Curious George, Froggy, Ladybug Girl, Llama Llama and Taco Dragon.
