Manhattanville School of Education Student Spotlight:
Stephanie Rein
Stephanie is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership in Manhattanville’s School of Education. She says, “I was surprised at how the faculty at Manhanttanville truly take an interest in my professional goals, as well as my learning. I feel as though my professors, advisers, and dissertation chair do everything they can to make sure I am on the right path to completing my Ed.D., and also reaching my personal and professional goals.”

Her advice to those thinking about going into the same career is, “Begin your Ed.D. as soon as you can in order to gain the knowledge needed to advance in your career. It is also important to be willing to take a job that gets your ‘foot in the door’ in Higher Education. Your Ed.D. will give you the scholarly knowledge that you need, but working in Higher Education will give you the practical experience needed.”
Love Behind Leadership
The “Love Behind Leadership” fund was formed by Ed.D. alumni in 2015 to pay it forward’ to the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at Manhattanville Colllege.
