Stewardship Scripture Reflection
Eighth Sunday of Ordinary Time

“A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit.” (Luke 6:43)

Are you using your God-given gifts in the way God intended? Do you compare yourself to others and complain about what you don’t have instead of being thankful for what you do have? God gives each of us unique gifts and a unique plan. Listen to how God is calling you to use your gifts, to bear good fruit, for the glory of His name.

ArchBishop'sAnnual Appeal 2019

If you have not yet made a gift to the 2019 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, there are pledge envelopes in the narthex or you can easily donate online at www.appeal.archatl.com . Once completed, please place your pledge envelope in the offertory basket. The campaign goal is $8,500,000 and our parish goal is $ 60,500.. Every gift to the Annual Appeal is vitally important to assure the continued support of many important programs that help thousands in our archdiocese each year; education of our children and seminary students, evangelization and Christian Initiation, on-going formation for our priests, and more!

For all of you Georgia Tech alumni, parents and fans...in case you didn't know...the Georgia Tech Catholic Center is renovating the chapel.

If you are interested in being part of their mission, click on the link below to learn more. The renovation is an effort to bring beauty to Georgia Tech, and to turn the Catholic Center into the beating heart of evangelization for the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Vacation Bible School June 17th-21st --Yay! We are so excited to have our own VBS this year! It will be 9:30-12:30 pm each day for rising K-5.

We will be having a volunteer meeting on March 20th at 6:30 pm  in the social hall (so the kids from our youth ministry can attend as well). If you can't make it to the meeting and still want to help out, please just let me know. We need help with preparation for the week along with volunteers for the actual VBS.

I have sign up sheets for volunteers outside my office or you may contact me at  cokas.dff@gmail.com . We need adults, high schoolers, and middle schoolers to help at each of these events, so please pass the word to friends and family members.
