9:15am Drop-in Discussion: An Indigenous Peoples' History of the US
Each Sunday in the Chalice Room (second floor).
Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz’s book (a UUA 2019-2020 Common Read) spans more than 400 years, recognizing the injustices that Native Americans have endured under various administrations throughout history. Copies are in our church library, but you need not have read the book. Rev. Michelle Yates will lead our discussion.

Eastman at Washington Square Concerts take place on Thursdays at 12:15 to 12:45pm in our sanctuary. March 5 is " Vocal and Lute Music": Soprano Angela Libertella Calabrese and lutenist Kenneth Kam share English lute songs by Renaissance composers John Dowland, Thomas Campion and more. Admission is free! Bring your brown bag lunch and join us.

Sunday, March 8 | InterfaithIMPACT Annual Program
Sexuality Education: How Much Should Be Taught?” is the title of InterfaithIMPACT of NYS’s Annual Legislative Briefing held at 2pm on March 8 at the First Unitarian Church, 220 S. Winton Rd. The program will begin with a presentation by In Control, Planned Parenthood’s teen pregnancy prevention group followed by panelists: Jamie Romeo, NYS Assemblymember 136th District; Debora McDell-Hernandez, Director of Public and Community Affairs at Planned Parenthood, Absara Haile, Supervisor of Health Education and Outreach at Planned Parenthood; and Lori Cramer, Education Coordinator at Out Alliance.
