Proofpoint Breaks Down Phishing Attacks for 2018 

Proofpoint has released their fifth annual State of the Phish Report to give us a focused look at 2018's phishing landscape.  P reviously, Proofpoint identified the top 20 phishing lures of 2017 in The Human Factor: 2018 . 



Their new report "validates the need to take a people-centric approach to cybersecurity." Proofpoint provides valid info regarding The Extent of End-User Risk, What Infosec Pros Are Experiencing, and Security Awareness Training: Outcomes and Opportunities. 

According to the research, the majority of information security professionals (approximately 96%) say that all types of attacks happened more frequently than in 2017. The infographic below is directly from Proofpoint's thorough report.
