During this time of continued uncertainty, we are praying for the health, safety, and well-being of you, your family, your community, and all impacted by COVID-19. We especially lift up pregnant and parenting mothers in need as they now navigate even greater challenges. May the Resurrection of the Lord remain our constant source of hope and the cause of all our joy .
Amid Pandemic, Dioceses Renew Commitment to
Walking with Moms in Need

Due to the coronavirus, dioceses and parishes across the country have had to cancel or delay activities and even temporarily suspend public Masses. Many parishes have similarly had to adjust their schedules to officially launch the Year of Service, according to what is pastorally and practically appropriate for everyone’s safety. Despite these unforeseen challenges, dioceses are adapting and renewing their commitment to serve moms (safely), especially as the challenges of pregnant and parenting mothers increase.

One example is the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis , which is working with community organizations to respond to current needs of pregnant and parenting moms, all while continuing its planning efforts to implement Walking with Moms in Need in parishes around the diocese.
Bishop Jaime Soto of the Diocese of Sacramento in a homily initiating the Year of Service encouraged us that even "as we continue to walk through the dark valley of the coronavirus," we can "be the light of a new humanity" as we embark on this yearlong pilgrimage.
St. Gianna Novena

Beginning April 28 thousands joined together to pray a novena to St. Gianna. If you missed it, it's not too late! The novena is still available online , and can be prayed at any time.
Monthly Prayer Intention

This month, we’re asking our Blessed Mother to draw women facing unexpected or challenging pregnancies close to her heart. Use our prayer guide to reflect and go deeper.
