Issue 13 - June 28, 2021
Club Information
We are pleased to re-introduce two long-standing member services. Beginning Monday, June 28th fitness towels will be available on the fitness floor (specifically near the stretching room, fitness gazebo, and Nautilus area). Also, complimentary coffee service will be available every morning until 9:30am. We are grateful for these additional opportunities to enhance the member experience.
Liberty Lightning Swim Meet
The first meet has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 30th. The outdoor pools will close at 4:30pm for set-up with warm-ups beginning at 5:30pm. This meet will be ‘virtual’ as only our team will be present. The outdoor pools will be reserved solely for the outdoor swim team, and closed for all other recreational swimming. The indoor Lagoon will be guarded for additional member-use.
The swim team party, originally scheduled for June 30th, will be rescheduled for a future date when the rain clouds are behind us and outdoor plans may be secured.

Outdoor Pools - Weather Policies
Lagoon Outdoor Waterpark
The Lagoon is not scheduled to be lifeguarded during the summer season. Should the outdoor waterpark close due to inclement weather or other circumstances, the lifeguard staff from outside will move indoors.

Liberty’s Outdoor Waterpark will close if the outdoor temperature is less than 70 degrees. As a result, the ‘Liberty Lagoon’ indoor waterpark will open for use.

Outdoor Early Morning Lap Lanes
Should thunderstorms be in the forecast for any given morning, we will do our best to cancel by 6pm the day prior. Emails will be sent to individuals with reservations, and lap lanes will be cancelled.
Fall Program Registration for youth swim and tennis is available for members on August 16th, and non-members on August 30th.
Mask and Gathering Orders
In following the MDHHS’s most recent rescission of the gatherings and face mask order, outdoor fitness and group fitness options continue to exist. Class capacity in the Group Fitness and Mind Body studios have increased to reflect a maximum of 15 participants.

Also, beginning Monday, June 28th, the child care (Treehouse Activity Center) and Liberty Day Camp will align with the other areas of our club; masks will be optional, but not required.

Personal Training
with Rowdy Wilson
Client: Lisa Molnar
"I am writing to express my deep gratitude and appreciation, as well as a strong endorsement for Rowdy Wilson, a personal and group trainer at Liberty. I have been training with Rowdy for the past few years – participating in both personal training and small group sessions. Rowdy has an in-depth knowledge of human mechanics and movement that enables him to design highly effective programs to build and maintain strength and conditioning.
He pays close attention to my form and posture, and actively corrects my movements to ensure that I am not hurting myself or undermining my fitness goals. In the small class setting, he takes into account our individual differences in abilities and physical condition, and helps us make the necessary adjustments to gain the maximum benefit. Rowdy’s calm demeanor, and supportive and encouraging words and actions inspire me to push myself to excel, but in a way that is safe and also very satisfying. I credit him with strongly contributing to both my physical and mental health, especially during the past difficult year. Thank you Rowdy for all you do. Lisa Molnar
