PLEASE HELP FEED OUR TEACHERS
Teachers work hard with our children everyday then stay super late a few days to talk to us about it. In appreciation of our teachers, we like to help feed them on that long day. PTO caters a lunch and we're asking volunteers provide light snacks to stock the teachers' lounge. Sign up below, but items are only suggestions, please bring anything you think they would enjoy! Please indicate in the comment section what specific items you will provide.
The food can be brought to the teachers' lounge or to the office in the morning of 2/28. If you are a car rider you can pass it off to a staff member at drop off.
Please send your Boxtops as soon as you can! The next submission is March 1. I will collect from the classes on February 26. The class with the most Boxtops earns their class a pizza party. Don’t forget to clip and send in with your child.

Student Collaborative Art Pieces:
The student art projects are already underway! Your child is participating in a collaborative art piece with his/her class. This unique piece will be part of the event’s silent auction. Thank you to those who donated $2 for art supplies. When the projects are complete, we’ll share details and more photos!
HPS Bowling brightened up a rainy Sunday

HPS Brain Bowl beats Fairview
Hyde Park Brain Bowl students won their fifth match Thursday against German Fairview within seconds of the clock running out. They are undefeated with only a few matches left! Congrats Eagles!
UC Women’s Basketball Game – March 2
National Girls and Women In Sports Day
An HPS group outing/fundraiser has been planned for Saturday March 2 at 12pm to see the Lady Bearcats basketball game. The Future Bearcats package costs $15 and includes one ticket, a Future Bearcat Under Armour T-shirt (8th grade and under), a facility tour, courtside spot to watch warmups, a photo with The Bearcat, and an autograph session with the team post-game. The Regular package costs $10 and includes one ticket and a facility tour. Proceeds go to the HPS Boosters, supporting the increased cost of renting gym space for the school’s basketball teams this year. Congratulations to all our basketball teams! 3rd grade and up teams all played in the city wide tournament this weekend and there were a lot of well played, close games played by Eagles teams. Special congratulations to the 3rd grade boys, 3rd grade girls and 6th grade boys teams who all made it to the championships games for their brackets. HPS International Night was a great success
